On the auspicious occasion of 12th Rabi-ul-Awal, the Embassy of Pakistan, Cairo organized a Mehfil-e-Milad to celebrate the Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ at Chancery with religious zeal and fervor.
On the occasion, Holy Quran, Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool and Qasida Burda Sharif were recited by students of Al-Azhar University and Pakistan International School, Cairo.
In his remarks, Ambassador Sajid Bilal highlighted the salient aspects of Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ, and stressed that the life of Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) ﷺ is a beacon of light for all humanity and all ages and generations.
The event was attended by the Embassy staff alongwith their families as well as members of the Pakistani community and Egyptian citizens.
