The National Day of Pakistan was celebrated at the Embassy of Pakistan, Cairo with traditional fervor and enthusiasm. The ceremony commenced with recitation from the Holy Quran and the hoisting of the national flag by Ambassador Sajid Bilal.
The Ambassador read out the messages of the President and the Prime Minister on the occasion of the National Day.
In his brief remarks, the Ambassador emphasized on unity among Pakistanis to overcome the challenges and continue the forward march on the path of development.
In the end, dua/prayer was offered for the well-being of Pakistanis especially in the face of the pandemic, and for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan.
The Chamberlain of the Office of the President of Arab Republic of Egypt called on the Ambassador to convey the National Day felicitations of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi to President Dr. Arif Alvi.
Corona SOPs were fully observed during the event.
